I am Jawadur Rahman, a CS graduate and currently working as a Research Assistant at MIST on army-funded projects in robotics and autonomous systems. My interests span robotics, system development, automation, communication architecture, and hardware security. I enjoy working at the intersection of hardware and software, integrating systems that are both reliable.

I have led teams in some of the world’s most prestigious robotics competitions. I was the Team Lead of the MIST Mars Rover Team, securing the 1st Runner-up position at the Anatolian Rover Challenge 2024, Turkiye and later leading the team at the University Rover Challenge 2025, USA. I also lead the Bored Tunnelers, the first-ever tunnel boring machine project from Bangladesh, where we represented the country at Elon Musk’s Not-a-Boring Competition in the USA.

Beyond competitions, I founded the MIST Cyber Security Club to promote cybersecurity awareness and innovation among students.

My expertise includes hardware-software integration, microcontroller interfacing, system planning, robot autonomy, control systems, and software development. Over the years, I've honed my skills in software development tailored specifically for robots, finding immense satisfaction in bringing automation to life.
